Here are the daily creates I did for this week:

March 26, 2013 Rewrite a classic movie scene so that its plot is relevant to ds106.

Okay, so Scarface is easily one of the most famous movies in the history of movies. And of course, for this daily create, I chose the famous scene from this movie where they are in the fancy smancy restaurant, and Al Pacino is drunk and going off about being “the bad guy.” This reminded me of the one Google+ Hangout I co-hosted earlier this semester, when it was legitimately attack of the trolls. Of course, we all hated the trolls, but hey, no matter how obnoxious they are, we need them, don’t we? So, I took out the phrase “bad guy” and swapped it with the word “troll” since I feel like every ds106er has encountered one or a dozen by now…

But, regardless of my new found appreciation, I still hate them.

I wonder if other people have made spoofs of this famous scene?

March 28, 2013 Take a picture of an unexpected object found in the earth.

Tent at the beach?

Okay, so this photo was taken a long time ago (fourth of July 2012 baby!) but I just HAD to use it for this daily create, because the reason I took this picture was that I thought it was extremely awkward and unexpected for this family to bring a tent to the beach. Although it was a really smart idea (the sand was so hot that day!), they got a lot of weird looks from people including me. But hey, in hindsight, I wouldn’t have minded being in that nice shaded tent!

I think this would make a really cool movie. Maybe it could be able some bizarre family that goes camping around the world and pitches tents in obscure locations? There are a ton of random movies coming out nowadays!
